Hand cut slate placemats, roughly 3/16" to 1/4"+ thick.  NOTE: THE PICTURE SHOWS THE DIMENSIONS AS 12" x 18", but the actual dimensions are 10" wide by 18" long.  These placemats are crafted from Premium Grade slate and have a cleft (chipped) edge. This slate is considered by many in the industry as being the best American slate available.  These are lacquered and ready to engrave with your laser or print directly to them with your UV printer, laser or sandblasting.  We provide peel-n-stick felt feet to be applied after decorating (4 feet per slate).

DO NOT USE LACQUERED (FINISHED) PLACEMATS FOR DIRECT FOOD CONTACT.

THIS IS A NATURAL PRODUCT AND ONE SHOULD EXPECT GREAT VARIATIONS PIECE TO PIECE.  Please note that there are many differences in thicknesses, textures and appearances in natural slate stone.  No two stones will be alike.  Laser engraved customization is possible.  Contact us with your ideas.
