This is a 4 piece set of 6" x 6" square slate trivets (thickness will vary trivet to trivet), black in color, hand cut, roughly 1/4"+/- thick. These trivets are crafted from Reclaimed Buckingham black slate and have a cleft (chipped) edge. This slate is considered by many in the roofing industry as being the best American slate available. These come with a lacquer finish OR unfinished in their "patina" condition, coming directly from being on a roof for over 100 years. (Pictures show slate AFTER it has a lacquer coating has been applied.)
DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER! WASH BY HAND IF NEEDED, REGARDLESS OF FINISH TYPE.
THIS IS A NATURAL PRODUCT AND ONE SHOULD EXPECT GREAT VARIATIONS PIECE TO PIECE. These come with four 1/8" thick felt peel-n-stick feet (per trivet) that you can apply after customization. We do that to keep these feet from being damaged during shipment. Please note that these will have many differences in thicknesses, textures and appearances in natural slate stone. No two stones will be alike.
THOUGH WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS. WE WILL REPLACE ANY DAMAGED TRIVETS IN YOUR SHIPMENT, FREE OF CHARGE, SHOULD THAT OCCUR. WE ASK THAT YOU CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AND PROVIDE PHOTOS SHOWING US THE DAMAGE, SO IT CAN BE BROUGHT TO THE SHIPPER'S ATTENTION FOR VERIFICATION.
